Flooded

Her confidence was only a mere projection of who she wanted to be

Because on the inside she was fighting a battle worse than the ones over seas. 

The water came in, 

and flooded her from within. 

Such that she was drowning in an abyss 

and contemplating sin. 

Her remains floated to the surface, and that's where she stood. 

An eternal portrayal of who she wanted to be, a self creation from the womb. 

Analysis:

The person she is outwardly is only the person she wishes to let people see. In the inside she was more, she was raw, she was truth. She was vivid with emotion that ate her up and tore her apart. 

She drowned in her self hate. She coped with self medicate. The person she truly is left buried beneath, drowned in an abyss. But the person she allows to live floats to the surface. She allows what she believes is an acceptable version of herself to be seen by others. She lets them cherish the person she wants to be as she hinders the person she truly is. She created and birthed who she wanted others to see, And that is the eternal portrayal that will be left of her, only that which she lets others see. Alluding to the motherly nature of women, she birthed a new creation of herself (ie ig).
